Water Quality Challenges Addressed the Watershed Way

Citizen scientists with URI Watershed Watch collect water quality metrics that creates a snapshot of a water body's health. Year after year, these metrics are collected at many locations allowing Watershed Watch scientists to see changes that may be occurring over time. If water quality concerns arise or trends show declining water health, the watershed approach is used to uncover trouble spots to work to improve the situation.
