Bacon and Egg Pie
$74.50 - 4 x family meals
- Eggs (2 trays #7's) 40 eggs $20
- Flaky Pastry 1 x 8pks $10

What you need - Chopping Board, Knives
Recipe : - Anytime - 60 mins + 130 mins cooking time
- Spray food trays with oil and place bottom sheet of pastry in
- Layer with 1/2 pack of bacon on the bottom of pies
- Add 10 eggs, onions and peas to centre
- Add another 1/2 pack of bacon to the top of the pies
- Top with pastry
- Bake 40 mins on 180deg c (temp chk)
- Cooling on bench to 60 deg
- Cooling in fridge to 21 deg within 2 hours
- Cooling in fridge to 5 deg within an additional 4 hours
- Put in freezer
We baked two pies at the same time for 45 mins then changed them over! So baking time is long but you can work in the middle.
Bacon and Egg Pie
Chilli con carne

What you need - Seive, Large pan x 2 or Electric frypan x 2, Large pot for Rice or rice cookers
Recipe : - Anytime - 60 mins
- Drain and slice peppers
- Drain beans
- Dice onion
- Get rice water on and start to cook it
- Heat some oil on a med/high heat
- Add onion and soften
- Add garlic and meat to pan
- Brown off meat.
- Add peppers, passata, tomato paste, spices and stock cubes (no water) to pan
- Add beans right at the end to heat through
- Once at desired thickness, Serve over cooked rice
- Cooling on bench to 60 deg
- Cooling in fridge to 21 deg within 2 hours
- Cooling in fridge to 5 deg within an additional 4 hours
- Put in freezer
Rice Method : Add one cup rice to two cups water to the pot with a lid, bring to the boil with lid on, boil for 5 mins, then turn element off and leave for 20 mins. This should steam the rice perfectly.
Creamy Chicken
& Cauli on Rice

What you need - Large pots for pasta, Large pan for Chicken, Grater, Large pot for Cauli, Knives, Chopping board, Whisk
Recipe : - Anytime - 90 mins
- Dice chicken
- Cut Cauli into small florets
- Boil water for rice.
- Put rice on using rice method below.
- Grate Cheese
- Mix eggs in bowl
- Fry chickn in batches till browned on two sides. Remove from pan
- Add stock to pan (1 cup water per cube) and add cauli, and chicken. Simmer for 5 mins.
- Add thyme.
- Remove from heat and add the cream returning to the element over a very low heat.
- Simmer while stirring for 2 mins.
- Remove from heat and stir in the whisked eggs quickly working it through.
- Serve over rice.
- Cooling on bench to 60 deg

What you need - Large pots for potatoes, Electric frypans for mince, Chopping boards, peeler, Knives, Potato ricer Recipe : - Anytime - 75 mins
- Chop Musrooms
- Chop Spring onions
- Put water for potatoes on to boil
- Dice carrots - small dice
- Chop and boil spuds
- Fry onion and carrots in a pan 5 mins. Add mince. Fry till browned.
- Add fennel, garlic and mushrooms. Fry 3 more mins
- Add diced tomatoes, and paste. Simmer down
- Mash cooked spuds, grate in the butter, use milk to finish the mash
- Top mash with thickened ragu.

Fried Rice
With chicken

What you need - Electric Frypans x 2, Large pan for rice, Bowl and whisk for eggs
Recipe : - Anytime - 75 mins
- Dice chicken small, Dice onion , Dice carrots small
- Cut broccoli into florets
- Mix eggs well in a bowl
- Put Rice on. Rice method below
- Cook eggs in pan on med heat, making sure you have a flat egg pancake (only put in what you need to make this)
- Once cooked through, roll up and remove from pan. Try not to brown this!
- Continue till all egg used. Slice these rolls
- Put oil in pan, turn up to med/high and soften onion and carrots and broccoli in pan
- Add corn and cook a little longer. You want the veggies El Dente, not fully cooked.
- Remove veggies from pan.
- Add chicken. Saute until cooked. Add sugar, salt and stock to pan to coat chicken.
- Combine all ingredients, and stir throughly to make sure the seasoning gets everywhere
- Fold in rice, serve.

Fish Pie

What you need - Large pots for potato, Electric Frypan for tuna and veg, Grater, Peeler, Knives, Chopping boards, Sieve, Potato ricer
Recipe : - Anytime - 75 mins including grilling
- Chop Leeks, carrots and celery.
- Drain corn
- Grate cheese
- Steam or boil the potatoes until tender.
- Boil water for potatoes
- Peel and chop potoates - cook them.
- Mash the potatoes along with the milk, 225gm butter and then set aside, cover and keep warm.
- Meanwhile, melt the remaining 75gm butter in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the leek, carrot and celery and cook for 3-4 minutes or until softened.
- Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for another 1 minute
- Stir in the cream. Bring to a simmer, reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Add the tuna, corn, peas, 2 tablespoons cheese, parsley, salt and pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Top the tuna mixture with the mashed potato and sprinkle with the remaining 2 tablespoons cheese.
- Place pie under preheated grill for 2 minutes or until golden brown on top.

What you need - Large pots for pasta, Large pans for mince, Grater, Large pot for Cheese sauce
Recipe : - Anytime - 90 mins
- Put Water on to boil for pasta
- Grate cheese
- Fry mince in pan. Add garlic, oregano, and pasta sauce with lentils and Simmer until thickened. If you need to add liquid for the lentils to Absorb, add a cube of beef stock to 1 cup of water and add bit by bit.
- We want the lentils mushy.
- Cook the pasta el dente and drain (it will cook in the mince while cooling).
- At the same time you cook the pasta, Cook the cheese sauce. Melt butter, Once melted, add flour all at once, stirring and keeping it over the heat for a minute. It will go dry and thick. Slowly add milk making sure not to add too much so you avoid lumps. This will also thicken quickly. Keep adding the milk till you have a smooth sauce, and heat for 5 mins till slightly warmer and starting to thicken.
- Add 500gm of the grated cheese
- Combine the mince and pasta, top with cheese sauce and sprinkle with remaining cheese and a little more oregano!

Macaroni Cheese

What you need - Large pots for pasta, Large pan for saute, Grater, Large pot for cheese sauce, Chopping boards, Knives
Recipe : - Anytime - 75mins
- Dice bacon, Dice onion, Dice garlic
- Grate all cheese
- Bring large pot of water to boil for the pasta. Cook once boiling. remove from heat.
- Drain pasta but retain 1/2 cup pasta water to keep pasta from sticking in pot. Turn occasionaly.
- In a large pot, melt butter over a medium heat
- Once melted, add flour and mustard powder stirring and keeping it over the heat for a minute. It will go dry and thick. Slowly add milk making sure not to add too much so you avoid lumps. This will also thicken quickly.
- Keep adding the milk till you have a smooth sauce, and heat for 5 mins till slightly warmer and starting to thicken.
- Add 800gm of the grated cheese. Keep an eye on it while it thickens then adjust cheese to suit (you may want more)
- Meanwhile, saute the onion and bacon over a medium heat. Add garlic when the bacon is close to cooked so you dont burn the garlic.
- Add all together. Pasta, cheese sauce and bacon stuff.
- Put in containers and top with remaining grated cheese
- Grill till cheese is golden.

Mild Chicken Curry & Rice

What you need - Large Crockpots x 2, Large pot for rice or rice cooker
Recipe : - Start of day - 30 mins start of day, 30 mins rice cooking, Slow cooks all day
- Dice onion
- Add raw chicken, raw onion to crockpot
- Mix together all other ingredients in a bowl and pour over chicken
- Slow cook for 6 hours on low, add cornflour if thickening required about 30 mins before serving
- Boil rice and serve curry over rice

What you need - Large pots for potato, Electric Frypan for mince mix, Grater, Peeler, Knives, Chopping boards, Sieve, Potato ricer
Recipe : - Anytime - 60 mins
- Peel and dice potato
- Boil water for potatos - get them cooking
- Dice carrots and onions.
- Heat some oil over med heat and add onion/carrots, Saute gently for 5 mins.
- Add mince, brown.
- Add worcestershire sauce and 3tsp of the garlic powder, Cook for 1 min
- Add flour and tomato paste, stir through and remove lumps
- Raise heat and add stock, peas, corn and bring to a boil. Simmer.
- Meanwhile mash the spuds with butter and remaining 3tsp garlic powder
- Place meat mix in bottom of dish, top with potato and sprinkle with parmesean.

Stock is 1 cube of stock or 1 tsp of stock to 1 cup of water if not premade.

- Get pasta water on and cook it
- Heat some oil on a med/high heat
- Add onion and soften
- Add garlic and meat to pan, Brown off meat.
- Add carrot, lentils and pasta water and simmer
- Add passata, carrot, tom paste and seasoning and continue to simmer
- Once at desired thickness, Serve over cooked pasta

Recipe : - Anytime - 60 mins
- Whisk eggs.
- Put big pot of water on & boil for the pasta.
- Prepare the veggies. Cut carrots as preferred, Chop broccoli as preferred.
- Cook till mostly cooked through - the broccoli esp will keep cooking after being taken off the element, so dont overcook it.
- Fry chopped bacon and onion in pan over med heat.
- When pasta is cooked, drain. Add bacon and onion and stir through the raw whisked eggs.
- Add back to pan and add cream over very low heat, stir until slightly thickened.
- Serve with veggies

Tex Mex Pork

What you need - Either large crock pot x 2 or Large stove top casseroles x 2 with lids, Frying pan, stove or electric Large pot for Rice or Rice cooker, Sieve
Recipe : - start of day - 60 mins - plus cooking time
- Either use mince or diced pork chopped small
- Brown Meat in pan. Remove and set aside.
- Add cumin and cook till it pops
- Add onion, and soften for 5 mins over med heat
- Add all other ingredients apart from the beans.
- Simmer 2 hours on stovetop, or in oven for 4 hours on 100 degrees C, or add to a crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours
- Serve over rice
