On November 13, 2019, with reference to worldwide celebration of GIS Day event, a research conversation event was held in Audio Visual Room of UPOU HQ. The topic of presentation was “GOLDEN: Geospatial Model for Distance Education” in addition to the presentation of official introductory video of Allama Iqbal Open University, Pakistan. A certificate of appreciation was given by Ms Jean A. Saludadez, PhD, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration of UPOU.

NCODeL 2019

Baguio, Philippines

Our collaborative and comparative research work on “Implementation of MOODLE in three Asian Open Universities (AIOU, UPOU & UT) : A comparative study using DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model” was selected as one of the three Finalists for Best Paper Award in 6th NCODeL, held during November 26-28, 2019 at Baguio, the Philippines.

Received Silver Medal in the Young Innovator Award category. The award was given by Dr Arif Alvi, The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the certificate was given the President of AAOU, Dr. Melinda dP. Bandalaria Chancellor, University of the Philippines Open University.
