Have you ever wanted to workout while your kid has fun, but everything else is so far away? Well, we have the spot for you! Come to Fitness and Fun just off concession 5A in Shallow Lake. We have a restaurant overlooking a lake, a volleyball court, basketball court, two hockey rinks and an indoor track. All of this is indoors, so you can workout any time of the year and in any weather. The cost is affordable, it is twenty-five dollars per month for anybody. We chose to put it here because it has a pleasant view and a location that is near to Wiarton ,Ontario, and Sauble Beach, Ontario. Our recreational center will be beneficial to this area by providing a place to workout for you and a place for your kids to play their favorite sports. The nearest recreational center to Shallow Lake center is the Julie McArthur Recreational Center in Owen Sound, which is approximately 20 minutes away. Or you could have a recreational center at furthest 5 minutes away, that is so much more convenient not for just people that live in Shallow Lake but also the people who live in Sauble Beach or Allenford. 

Introduction

The arcade is located right beside the gym, having all the new games with a fun twist of your favorite old games, so if your kid wants to go to the arcade, you can have fun too. The cost of 10 credits is 4 dollars, while 20 credits is 7 dollars, and 50 credits is 15 dollars. We have pizza, slushies, and hot dogs in the arcade that you can enjoy any time of the day. But if you want something a little more healthy head over to the rec center, where you can enjoy a nice meal overlooking the water. Our local competitors are Giggles Arcade in Sauble Beach and The Bowling Alley in Owen Sound.

Why will it be beneficial to the area

The arcade would be beneficial to the Shallow Lake Area because the nearest arcade is in Sauble Beach which is the Giggles Arcade, The Bowling Alley in Owen Sound who in shallow lake wants to drive to Owen Sound to the Bowling Alley which doesn't even have a good arcade. Who wants to drive to Sauble (which happens to be a very busy town from May to September which is almost half the year) to a very busy arcade and its not practical to go to either unless you have something else to do in that town. That's why an arcade would beneficial to the Shallow lake area.

Why we choose to do an arcade

We chose to do an arcade in this spot and beside our Recreation Center because it just made sense to us to put our business' beside each other because then you can do one advertisement for the two business' and before a your sports game you can just relax and prepare for your game. It is also easier for people to find it if its on one property. The arcade was also our choice because if you had to do something after your game would you rather go to an arcade, a petting zoo or an art gallery probably the arcade that's what we thought too. The arcade is also close to our restaurant that we are putting on the second floor of the Recreation Center so if you don't want one of our hotdogs, slushies or pizzas when you're done gaming or even before you start.

Why we chose this location

We chose this location for the arcade because we think anybody should be able to have fun throughout the year without having to drive a long way to Sauble Beach, Ontairio. We also chose this location because it's a high traffic town in the summer.

Recreational center introduction 

The Recreation Centers gym has all the new adjustable dumbbells between ten and Ninety pounds. We have ski machines, treadmills, Stairmasters, bench press, barbells and weight plates, cable machines, pull up bars and leg presses. We have protein snacks, drinks, and delicious food just a floor above for after your workout. There is also a volleyball court, basketball court, two hockey rinks, a track circle, a lacrosse field, and a soccer field and going on up to the second floor there is a restaurant with delicious food that you can eat overlooking the lake. This is all indoors so you can enjoy it rain, shine, wind, snow, and hail.

Why it will be beneficial to the area

A Recreation Center would be beneficial to Shallow Lake because the nearest other recreation centers are in Owen Sound its the Julie McAurther, in Port Elgin its the Plex and Hanover its the P&H center. When you living close to or in Shallow Lake you don't want to drive all the way to Owen Sound, Port Elgin or Hanover just to go to a recreation center that sounds like a waste of time and money so just come to Shallow Lake.

Why we chose to do a Recreation Center

We chose to do a Recreation Center because in Shallow lake because the least amount of time that you have to drive is about 30 minutes to Owen Sound, we also chose to put a restaurant on the second floor because there are not that many restaurants in Shallow Lake. Not only does Shallow lake only have one hokey arena they only have one gym. A Recreation center will not only more income to the town but save the inhabitants of Hepworth, Sauble Beach, Shallow Lake, Allenford, much more on gasoline and time.

Why we chose this location

We chose this location for the Recreation Center because we think anybody should be able to workout throughout the year without having to drive a long way to Owen Sound, Ontairio. We also chose this location because it's a high traffic town throughout the entire year.

This is why a Recreation Center would be a good choice for Shallow Lake.

The restaurant has an all-day breakfast with your favourite lunch and dinner, side salads, fries, coleslaw, so you can make your meal just a little bit better. If you want to bring tour kids, we have meals for them too including a cheeseburger with fries, grilled cheese with any soup, chicken nuggets and fries or chicken fingers and fries. On Wednesday you can get thirty percent off any appetizers.

The competitors for our arcade are the bowling alley in Owen Sound and Giggles Arcade in Sauble beach.
