What is Earth from nullschool.net?

Earth is a map of weather from all around the planet. The source of the maps are data made by NASA supercomputers and it is updated every three hours.

"Earth" is an amazing tool for exploring current weather conditions around the world. For adults and even mapping experts it provides an easy way to explore current events, and provides different ways of displaying a single map of the world.

The data for these maps comes from satellites in space using radio waves, and then the data is downloaded through satellite dishes all around the world, including New Zealand satellite dish sites.
