North American River Otter

Where can you find one of these fascinating creatures?

North American River Otters prefer to make their homes in calm environments near water and surrounded by woods. Otters like to live in the same type of places as beavers. I used the same forest and river data that was provided to us from project 2. I then used a lot of the same tools from project 2. However, unlike bigfoot, otters are not near as active as bigfoot and there habitat is predominantly spent in or around water. Therefore, I placed a one-mile buffer around the rivers and cut out everything around it. Since otters do not care for crowded environments, I placed a five-mile buffer around major cities and one-mile buffer around interstates and erased everything inside.
