This park is popular for sport and has a range of facilities including two exciting and inclusive children's play areas, tennis courts, multi-sports courts, interactive play, teen shelter, football pitches and areas of wildflower meadow.
Come and play on the best interactive games in the country and discover active enhanced play in the space and earth themed play areas before whizzing down the huge tube slide!
The outdoor gym includes kettlebells, resistance straps and core training.
The park also hosts local events including Movies in the Park, Families Day, Halloween Funday and the Annual Fireworks Display.

Aycliffe Park - Borehamwood
Known locally as ‘Three Fields’, Aycliffe Park offers large open grounds to keep active in, it's mainly used for outdoor team sports such as weekend football and also hosts outdoor fitness equipment for all ages. The main access, car park and pavilion are located off Woolmer Close. The grass is left long where possible to provide refuge for insects and small mammals.

Kenilworth Park (King George V Playing Fields) - Borehamwood

Thirskcliffe Nature Park - Borehamwood
Named by local school children, this nature park can be accessed from both Thirsk Road and Aycliffe Road and contains a mosaic of rough grassland, woodland and scrub, making it a great place for urban wildlife with plenty of seeds and berries on offer for hungry birds. A path across the site makes it easier to climb the hill...and once there, views across Borehamwood and the countryside beyond are to be enjoyed.

Maxwell Hillside Park - Borehamwood
This County Wildlife site is next to Elstree Studios and runs between Elstree Way and Hillside Avenue. Maxwell Community Centre is at the main entrance and the park includes a mixture of meadow and woodland and informal football goals.
Clarendon Park - Borehamwood
This is a small garden between Shenley Road and the BBC Studios off Clarendon Road. The garden is landscaped in the layout of Albert Square and contains roses, lavender and wooden sculptures.

Byron Avenue Play Area - Borehamwood

The Town Centre Garden in Shenley Road is a pocket park which opened to the public in April 2016.
At the centre of the garden is a permanent Christmas tree which is lit up every December. Other elements include flowering cherries, wildflower meadow and shrub planting to provide all year round interest and seating to allow rest and contemplation.
King George Recreation Ground - Bushey
Award winning destination park with a wide variety of play and sport including an exciting tropical island splash park.
The open season for the splash park is from the second bank holiday in May until mid September.

Shenley Park - Shenley
Shenley Park is a 45-acre park situated right in the heart of Shenley village.
The park was established in 1992 and is managed by Shenley Park Trust - an independent charitable trust - on a long lease from the council.
It has a unique apple orchard with nearly 150 varieties of apples, a wildflower meadow and woodland, a Victorian walled garden with a terraced amphitheatre, a country style tea room and a spacious former old chapel which functions as an all-purpose hall for the community.
