Croatia National Football Team Qatar 2022

Croatia played in Group F and advanced from the  group stage  after a 0–0 draw with  Morocco , a 4–1 win against  Canada , and a 0-0 draw against  Belgium .

This marked third overall and second consecutive qualifying to a World Cup  knockout stage  for Croatia.

In the round of 16 Croatia won over  Japan  in a penalty shootout with  Dominik Livaković  stopping 3 out of 4 Japanese penalty kicks.

In the quarter-finals, Croatia beat  Brazil  in an upset victory on penalties, having come from behind to draw 1–1 in the final minutes of extra time.

Croatia lost to Argentina 0:3 in the semi-finals, and was sent to the battle for a bronze medal.

Croatia beat Morocco 2:1 in regular time with goals from Gvardiol and Oršić and claimed a bronze medal!

This is the third medal in six appearances since 1998 in FIFA World Cup, which made Croatia one of the most successful countries of all time in world football.

Croatia National Football Team from Qatar 2022 clearly demonstrated, that with a lot of effort, hard work, humility and team spirit, we can beat the odds and go beyond what everybody thought was possible.
