What Is SARGIS?
GIS tools are used in search and rescue (SAR) activities in various ways. The term SARGIS is used to describe the use and creation of geospatial tools and sharing of SAR best practices to solve real-world problems; develop search-and-rescue strategies; and, most importantly, save lives.
