We're excited to introduce AcreVision, our new buildable acreage analysis widget designed specifically for renewable energy companies using Esri’s Enterprise Portal or ArcGIS Online.

As an Esri Business Partner, Platte River Analytics collaborates closely with Esri to support our clients' mapping and spatial analysis needs. We have a proven track record in providing custom GIS services, consulting, and training to Esri clients.

AcreVision streamlines site selection by analyzing parcels or sets of parcels based on critical factors such as roads, existing buildings, floodplains, wetlands, slope, and more. The tool generates a detailed output, providing a comprehensive buildable acreage analysis that integrates seamlessly into your workflows.

1. Select parcel or set of parcels in an Experience Builder application. AcreVision is fully compatible with Esri Experience Builder and works alongside all standard out-of-the-box widgets and tools, enhancing your GIS environment without disruption.
2. In a window similar to the one on the right, the next step is to select your list of constraints that you want to use. After selecting the constraints, then set the distance for those constraints.
   1. For example, you can check mark building setbacks and road setbacks and both buffer distances to 250'. Once the tool runs, it will create 250' setbacks from both of those layers and build an output from those buffers.
3. Give the output a name and choose the folder/group you want to save the analysis layer to. Click Run Analysis to perform the geoprocessing analysis.
4. The buildable acreage analysis will automatically be generated and added to your application. The result will be a raster layer with the buildable acreage results.
