Bosco Fields

Address: 47481 Eleven Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48374 (Located at the corner of Beck Rd & 11 Mile Rd)

Description: Bosco Fields is home to multi-purpose sports, athletic and recreational fields with related amenities. It also includes parking areas and access roads off Beck Road and off 11 Mile Road. It features 13 soccer fields of four sizes, including 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11. Please note the restrooms are portable toilets.

Brookfarm Park

Description: This quaint neighborhood park features a walking path and bridge installed in 2014, a small stream and open space for sports and casual family outings. Walking Path 1,014.43 ft = .2 mile

Ella Mae Power Park

Address: 45175 W Ten Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48375 (Behind Novi City Hall/Civic Center)

Description: Ella Mae Power Park is an athletic complex catering primarily to softball leagues. The complex is one of the premier sites for softball in the area, featuring six ball diamonds. In addition to local adult and youth leagues, the site has hosted national, state and recreational tournaments. Two play structures and small shelter are also part of this site. If interested in renting any of the diamonds, please complete the  Request Field Rental Information Form .

Fuerst Park

Address: 45325 Ten Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48375 (Located at the corner of 10 Mile Rd &Taft Rd, next to the Novi Public Library)

Description: This eight acre park offers a great setting for a leisurely walk while enjoying the inviting landscaping and rolling topography. The 150-seat amphitheater provides lifelong memories with the family-friendly performances taking place May-October. Wi-Fi access is available; users must have a valid Novi Public Library card to connect. The historic  Township Hall building and amphitheater  can be reserved for small gatherings.

ITC Community Sports Park

Address: 51000 Eight Mile Rd, Northville, MI 48167 (Located at the corner of 8 Mile Rd & Napier Rd)

Description: Developed in 1996, ITC Community Sports Park caters to active recreational pursuits. This park is known as the premier soccer and baseball complex in the area, which plays host to many tournaments throughout the year. Tennis and basketball courts are also within the park. For non-sports enthusiasts,  one picnic shelter  is available for community use throughout the year or to rent for gatherings of all sorts. Two play structures, one near each entrance of the park, are popular all year round.

ITC Corridor Trail

Location: Traverses the city from north to south connecting the Ascension Providence Hospital campus to ITC Community Sports Park where a trailhead is located.

Description: The 4.66 mile trail is a collaboration between the City of Novi and ITC Holdings Corp. Ultimately, this trail will link regional facilities – such as Maybury Park, the I-275 Corridor and Hines Park – in the neighboring communities of Northville, Livonia and Westland with parks in Novi. No motorized vehicles permitted with the exception of power driven mobility devices related to disabilities.

ITC Trailhead Park

Address: 22475 Garfield Rd, Northville, MI 48167 (Located at the corner of Garfield Rd & 9 Mile Rd)

Description: With assistance from two Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grants, the City of Novi acquired more than 13 acres of land in 2018 for development as a future trailhead park and an additional 20 acres of land in 2019 as an expansion. This park has open space & nature trails. The  ITC Corridor Trail  is now open along with a shelter featuring park benches and a bike repair station.

Jessica's Splashpad

Address: 25805 Beck Rd, Novi, MI 48374 (Located near Bosco Fields Park)

Description: A splash pad, in honor of former FOX 2 Meteorologist Jessica Starr-Rose, is located at Bosco Fields Park and opened in Summer 2024. Jessica’s Splashpad will be open 10am-8pm starting the Saturday of Memorial Day through Labor Day weather permitting. No entry fee. No lifeguards on duty.

Lakeshore Park

Address: 601 South Lake Dr, Novi, MI 48377

Description: The largest of the City’s parks, Lakeshore Park offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities and plays host to many community events. Active recreation opportunities include a swimming beach (on Walled Lake, the largest lake in the City) in the summer months, well maintained mountain bike and walking trails, and two play structures. The park is also home to a wide variety of flora and fauna.  Three picnic shelters  are available for rental and community use at the park.

Lakeshore Park Mountain Bike Trail

Address: 601 South Lake Dr, Novi, MI 48377

Description: Lakeshore Park's  mountain bike trail  is approximately 10 miles long and covers a variety of terrain for both the intermediate and experienced rider. In addition to the more challenging mountain bike trail, Lakeshore Park also contains an extensive network of wider trails suited to walking, family biking, and cross-country skiing. The trail head and information kiosk is located at the south end of Lakeshore Park. Meadowbrook Activity Center

Description: Meadowbrook Commons Independent Living, which opened in 2001, is home to more than 200 active older adults and includes 175 one and two bedroom apartments.

Novi Dog Park

Address: 42390 Nick Lidstrom Dr, Novi, MI 48375 (Located behind the Novi Ice Arena)

Description: This three-acre off-leash dog park offers ample activity space for dogs of all sizes. For the safety and comfort of dogs and their owners, nearly 3/4 of an acre is set aside for small and/or timid dogs and nearly 1.5 acres are available for all other dogs. Parking is available at the location and at the Novi Ice Arena.  Membership  is required for entry and available to Novi and Northville citizens once they complete a short on-line course and provide proof of required vaccinations and current Oakland County Dog License.

Novi Ice Arena

Address: 42400 Nick Lidstrom Dr, Novi, MI 48375

Description: The  Novi Ice Arena  opened in September 1998. This beautiful multi-surface facility offers two NHL-regulation sized ice sheets, seating capacities of 750 and 200, heated viewing areas, pro shop, concessions, skate rental and meeting space. The arena offers eight large locker rooms, an officials room and a large figure skating dressing room. The facility is host to a variety of programs, including the Novi Youth Hockey Association, Skating Club of Novi, Novi High School and Northville High School hockey teams.

Novi Northwest Park

Address: 50635 Twelve Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48374 (Located east of Napier Rd, south of Grand River Ave)

Description: The City of Novi acquired 9.94 acres of land southeast of 12 Mile and Napier Roads in 2015 to become the future site of Novi Northwest Park. The land was officially designated as parkland via an August 2017 City Council resolution in compliance with the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) grant that helped fund the park’s acquisition. The nature-based playground and nearly ½ mile of gravel trails opened in spring 2024.  The playground, designed and built by Michigan based Nature Playscapes, is one-of-a kind and one of only a few nature playgrounds in the state.  The playground encourages creative play, discovery, and physical skills.

Pavilion Shore Park

Address: 43390 Thirteen Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48377

Description: This 11 acre park was opened on August 24, 2013. The park sits on the southern shore of Walled Lake and consists of walking paths, a fishing pier, picnic plaza, parking and waterfront seating. Just a short walk (0.2 miles) to the west is Lakeshore Park with additional amenities: sand volleyball, swim beach, horseshoe pits, BBQs, picnic shelters, play structures and over 10 miles of mountain biking and multi-purpose trails.

Rotary Park

Address: 22220 Roethel Dr, Novi, MI 48735

Description: Rotary Park was developed through donations from the Rotary Club and a Michigan Department of Natural Resources grant. This park is made up of woodlands, wetlands, and a portion of the Middle Rouge River with nature trails throughout the park. Community members  reserve the picnic facilities  at Rotary Park to hold their family reunions, birthday parties and more. The park is also a popular destination to play tennis.

Villa Barr Art Park

Address: 22600 Napier Rd, Novi, MI 48374

Description: The 4-acre property, previously owned by David Barr and dancer Beth Dwaihy Barr, includes a home, studio and multiple sculpture installations in a park setting. The intention of the park is to enhance art experiences in Novi whether by admiring the art installations or participating in a program at the site. Construction of a parking lot and pathway, along with amenities such as interpretive signage and respite areas, was completed in fall 2018. The project is funded in part by  Novi Parks Foundation  and a grant from the  Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs .

Village Wood Lake Park

Description: This 14 acre neighborhood park features a walking path, picnic tables and park benches with views of  Village Wood Lake and open space for sports and casual family outings.

Water Tower Park & R/C Raceway

Address: 25460 Novi Rd, Novi, MI 48375 (Located off Trans X Rd)

Description: The City of Novi purchased the 3.64-acre parcel of property at the intersection of Novi Road and Trans-X Drive in 2017. Restoration of the iconic Novi water tower was completed in 2021 with donation of the paint from PPG Protective & Marine Coatings (PPG). The R/C Raceway Track was constructed in spring of 2022. The track is open to 1/8 scale and smaller battery powered R/C models from dawn to dusk May 1 – November 1. A port-a-john is available on-site seasonally.

Wildlife Woods Park

Address: 26600 Wixom Rd, Novi, MI 48374 (Driveway and parking lot located off Stonebrook Dr)

Description: Wildlife Woods Park features more than 28 acres of fields and wooded land, a rentable picnic shelter, two softball diamonds, outdoor exercise equipment (shaded), four pickleball courts and access to the ITC Corridor Trail. The park entrance is located off Wixom Road.

Wildlife Woods Park is scheduled for a parking lot expansion and the addition of four new pickleball courts in 2024. The contractor is projecting to start the last week of July and finish in September.
