Tennessee Polytechnic Institute (TPI) was founded in 1915. TPI used this name until 1965 when it became known as Tennessee Technological University.
We encourage you to be curious and explore each map by zooming in on locations familiar to you. The author's building began as Boy's Hall, became East Hall, and eventually Kittrell Hall. Some of you may know it informally as the "Rock Lodge".
This early campus map from 1925 was drafted by Bassett, Bracey, Davis, and Morrison.

In May of 1926 Frank S. Loomis, W. J. McClaren, and P. C. Neely surveyed and plotted this map.

This map of TPI shows elevation contours. This was plotted and traced in the Spring of 1934 by F. D. Alexander, S. M. Roller, L. B. Hopkins, J. M. Anderson, and Elmo Burris.

This last map of the TPI campus is dated 1963 and also indicates it was used as part of a campus master plan. The author's name is indiscernible.
