Conclusion
Based on all the concerns and benefits that arise from the shipwrecks in The Great Lakes we have concluded that it is extremely important to search for the shipwrecks immensely. The data has shown that more shipwrecks occur close to shore, we learned that this is because of a lack of protection from storms. Due to their location, and frequency in the Great Lakes, many of shipwrecks cause dangers to transportation routes this includes transportation of ships as well as goods in general. Another effect of shipwrecks is the dangers to wildlife and the environment, the government is working on avoiding these concerns but they are progressively getting worse. Overall, we have discovered that while technology is improving, and there are less wrecks occurring it is still important to search for the historical shipwrecks in the Great Lakes for safety concerns, and educational reasons as well.
