Which storm brought the greatest impacts?
That is always a challenge to figure out, but one might point out the late October storm that OPC first analyzed as hurricane force on Oct 21st 2021. This storm was particularly impactful because of its proximity to the West Coast of the United States. As this storm pushed closer to land, heavy rainfall, significant wind, flooding, and large breaking waves all impacted the West Coast over a period of several days!
