Hyde Park Neighborhood

Chicago, IL

On the left is the updated photo I edited in Lightroom. I decided to make the sky more saturated so that it stands out more. I changed the contrast so not everything in the image was blended together. I cropped the image so it was more centered and only showed grass on the bottom.

The picture to the left is the one I edited in Lightroom. The original one looked bland to me so I gave the image more saturated colors and a blue tint to make the sky and museum contrast better. I cropped the image to give it more focus. I fixed the brightness, shadows and highlights to make it visually more appealing than the original image.

The image on the left is the edited one. I cropped the image so the blurred areas at the top and bottom are not there. I put more vibrance into the blues, yellows and greens to make it feel more like a picture of the beach. I also worked on the contrast in the sky so it has more texture. I used the brightness and saturation to make the image more aesthetically pleasing.

In the image on the left I made some aspects more vibrant like the trees, water and sky. I cropped the image so the blurry part at the bottom is no longer visible. If you look closely at the original image there is a watermarked “2013” at the bottom right so I healed that and it’s no longer visible.
