The  City of Burbank  in collaboration with  RJM Design Group , is conducting a City Parks Master Plan. This Master Plan will guide parks and recreation development now and in the future.

Critical to the development of any project is close coordination through information sharing with the community. Throughout the process, City Staff and RJM will be collecting data through multiple surveys and in person meetings.

Burbank Parks and Recreation operates and maintains a total of 26 parks, 15 ball fields, 4 recreation/community centers, 2 older adult centers, 1 performing arts theater, 2 swimming pools, a skate/BMX park, a roller hockey rink, a tennis center, an 18-hole golf course, an outdoor amphitheater, a nature center, and the Burbank Animal Shelter. These parks range in size and amenities, providing various opportunities for outdoor activities, sports, picnicking, and relaxation. The city's parks are well-maintained and play a significant role in enhancing the quality of life for Burbank residents and visitors alike.
