We are surrounded by award-winning wineries and craft breweries. And let’s not forget the incredible cider, made from local produce, and distilled spirits that put a new spin on the usual. Use these maps to chart your sipping tour through the city.
You can drive, ride, walk, run or roll between many of these locations, with bike and e-bike rentals available. Don’t forget saddle bags or a backpack to store your purchases.

Four Shadows Vineyard & Winery
Originally from Holland, the owners and their sons strive to create a family-friendly experience. “Our intention is for it to be an extension of our home where anyone can feel at ease talking about wine regardless of their level of wine knowledge.
Upper Bench Estate Winery
They're known for their bold reds and crisp, dry whites, also paired with handcrafted batches of artisanal cheeses. Their 2019 Riesling was named B.C.’s wine of the year in the Lieutenant Governor’s Awards.
Roche Wines
Roche specializes in hands-on organic farming, blending their experience rooted in Bordeaux and Burgundy to the unique terroir of the Okanagan Valley.
Da Silva Vineyards and Winery
Da Silva uses an old-world approach to winemaking, where the vineyards shape the wine and aging process. Each of their 11 vineyards was selected for its distinct terroir with a focus on creating a portfolio of wines that reflect the diversity of microclimates throughout the region.
Monster Vineyards
Monster Vineyards crafts tasty wines produced for the curious at heart. Grapes are sourced from vineyards that match the expressions of their portfolio; bold, fruit-forward and pleasing to the palate.
Poplar Grove Winery
In addition to their stellar views and upscale restaurant, Poplar Grove is recognized for crafting benchmark Pinot Gris and Cabernet Franc as well as multiple varietals and blends. Their flagship is an Okanagan blend of red Bordeaux varieties, The Legacy.
Three Sisters Winery
This family owned and operated winery received a platinum medal in 2020 for its 2018 Syrah. Both their tasting room and their picnic area are kid and dog-friendly, so you can sip your wine and have some snacks or locally made popsicles - with amazing lake views.
Township 7 Vineyards & Winery
Township 7 is nestled at the gateway to the Naramata Bench, offering wine tastings outdoors in its courtyard at the base of the vineyards. Reservations recommended; book online.
La Frenz Winery
Relax in the scenic serenity of the Naramata Bench as you enjoy a seated tasting flight – an opportunity to sample their award-winning and signature wines. Book your tasting online.
Little Engine Wines
Their vision is to produce wines that appeal to astute wine enthusiasts and the most seasoned professionals. Their acclaimed portfolio includes the 96-point 2018 Gold Chardonnay and 95-point 2018 Gold Pinot Noir. Book your tasting in advance.
Red Rooster Winery
Their first vintage was released in 1997, and it wasn’t long before the winery became synonymous with the production of award-winning wines that showcase the best of B.C. and the Okanagan.
Ruby Blues Winery
Look for the Ruby Blues hippy-style van at the side of the road marking the location of this funky, small boutique winery. The wines are as fun and flirty as the atmosphere.
D'Angelo Estate Winery
D’Angelo Vineyards has eight acres of vines planted on the Naramata Bench, with a focus on creating quality red wines. With its spectacular views and spacious picnic area, this is a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine. Pack a picnic or grab a sandwich from the on-site food truck.
Maple Leaf Spirits
Experience their award-winning spirits, brandies and liqueurs, handcrafted from local Okanagan-grown fruit, grapes and wine, distilled following European techniques and tradition. Their collection includes the “Lady of the Cask” wine brandy, classic Swiss-style Kirsch, Pear Williams, and Maple Liqueur. All spirits are gluten-free and vegan.
Creek and Gully Cider
Great cider starts in the orchard. They keep it wild with their farming and ferments, encouraging the natural microbiome to express itself through their cider. Their ciders are alive and unfiltered, handmade with minimal sulphites.
Lock & Worth Winery
Wine and cheese with a view! Note they are not doing tastings this year but serving wine by the glass or bottle, to be enjoyed at the on-site picnic tables, with cheese and accoutrements available for purchase.
Hillside Winery
Hillside’s focus is showcasing hand-crafted wine made exclusively from Naramata-grown grapes. Their charming courtyard and modern farmhouse tasting room offer a friendly and casual setting. The Bistro features a 65-seat dining area plus patios with breathtaking lake views.
Singletree Winery Naramata
A family-run winery based in the Fraser Valley, now with this second location in Penticton. Their vineyards include primarily white varietals along with Pinot Noir, with red varietals carefully selected from vineyards grown in the South Okanagan.
Origin Wines
Enjoy breathtaking views above Okanagan Lake, take in an outdoor performance, bring a picnic or play some yard games. This family-friendly spot is casual and welcoming, with walk-in tastings available.
Wesbert Winery
Wesbert Winery is home to a working vineyard cultivating five varietals of grapes. Surrounded by a picturesque setting, it’s close to the Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail, popular among cyclists and hikers. It offers a wine shop, tasting room and terrace.
Howling Bluff Estate Winery
This family-owned estate winery takes pride in growing its own vines and producing small lots of remarkable wines. They honour the authenticity of old-world Burgundy varietals while applying new-world techniques.
Laughing Stock Vineyards
Their portfolio includes acclaimed wines that have been twice awarded the Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence in B.C. In October 2018, they took home the top trophy for Syrah in the Six Nation Wine Challenge that awards only the top wines of the New World nations.
La Petite Abeille Cider
Each cider reflects the unique flavours and personality of the Okanagan Valley, or, as the French say, the “goût du terroir.” Gluten-free and never too sweet, their ciders let the natural fruit flavours and aromatics shine through, with the perfect amount of bubble.
Tightrope Winery
A small, family-run, sustainable winery on the Naramata Bench. They only use locally grown grapes to make hand-crafted wines with artistry and passion. Reservations required.
Black Widow Winery
Their unique tasting room brings you inside the winery and allows you to see the entire operation while sampling their wines. Wines are crafted exclusively from grapes grown on the Naramata Bench, with a low intervention philosophy in wine making. Book your appointment online.
Terravista Vineyards
Terravista Vineyards are producers of small-lot white wines including varietals Albariño and Verdejo, typically grown in northwestern Spain and Portugal. The southwestern slope of till sediments and stony soils of this vineyard provide optimal conditions for aromatic whites with crisp acidity.
Bench 1775 Winery
Bench 1775 ranked in the Top 8 Wineries in Canada and the Top 4 Wineries in B.C. at the 2018 National Wine Awards of Canada. Their fruit is grown in multiple vineyards throughout the region. The tasting room is pet friendly, with reservations required for Saturdays.
Moraine Estate Winery
Moraine is a family-owned winery and vineyard overlooking Okanagan Lake. Take in the stunning views during your wine tasting on the outside patio, available both by walk-in or reservation.
Painted Rock Estate Winery
Take in the spectacular views above Skaha Lake from this 56-acre bench location. Reservations for wine tasting are highly recommended. However, they are not needed to enjoy a glass of wine or cheese and charcuterie plate on the patio.
Pentâge Winery
This boutique winery is nestled on 23 acres overlooking Skaha Lake. They have some rare varietals planted in the vineyards, producing small lot, hand-crafted unique wines. Their goal is to bottle age their reds and select whites prior to release, offering customers a beautifully aged, balanced wine.
Crescent Hill Winery
The vineyard began using 100% pure clones from the old country, resulting in high-quality grapes. Drop by for tastings: no reservations required.

Newly renovated restaurant: coming soon! In the meantime, make a booking for a tasting in the wine shop – and prepare to be amazed by the dazzling views over Skaha Lake.
Barley Mill Brew Pub & Sports Bistro
This craft brewery is set in an old English Tudor-style building, offering an historic and friendly atmosphere. Families are welcome in the upstairs sports bistro. The brew pub offers indoor seating as well as patio seating equipped with patio misters for hot Okanagan afternoons.
The Tin Whistle Brewing Company
Not only is Tin Whistle one of the Okanagan’s oldest breweries, it's also one of the first in B.C. to become carbon neutral. Pay a visit to the historic Cannery Trade Centre taproom and patio for a tasting.
Bad Tattoo
This brewery near Okanagan Lake is a popular attraction with an on-site rock oven pizzeria, covered patio, the new ‘Badlands’ outdoor patio, and extensive craft beer lineup.
Neighbourhood Brewing
Neighbourhood Brewing is a place where great beer meets inventive food, and where friends and family to come together to have a good time. While beer is their specialty, they also like to have fun in the kitchen, putting a tasty spin on traditional Mexican dishes.
Slackwater Brewing
Their website declares: “We make beer for people who love nature. And beer.” This brewery offers a beachy, welcoming feel, with outdoor patios, live music and fantastic food.
TIME Winery & Kitchen
The historic PenMar movie theatre is home to this downtown winery. Enjoy elevated wine tasting and dining experiences in their newly renovated winery and restaurant.
Cannery Brewing
Their much-loved taproom, patio and backyard are packed with great beer, delicious snacks, local wine and cider. Their micro-brewery produces individually crafted fine ales and lagers. Whether you are hiking, biking or exploring the area, this is a perfect family-friendly stop.
Highway 97
Check out their new location across from Cannery Brewing! Visit the tasting room to sample their craft beer and stay for their savoury pies, baked wings and other nibbles.
Abandoned Rail Brew Co.
Opening soon! This new brewery is converting the former Trail Store on the KVR Trail to offer an indoor tasting room, patios and lounge, opening this fall.
