Thank you for visiting the virtual open house for 8th Street and 9th Street. The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is working to improve 8th Street and 9th Street for all users. We would like your input on the proposed pedestrian enhancements and traffic calming elements proposed for the corridor.

Project Background
In response to community feedback and the recommendations provided in the North Boise Neighborhood Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan , 8th Street and 9th Street were identified as potential corridors for traffic calming measures, and enhanced pedestrian crossings.

The following traffic calming measures were also considered; however, they are not currently proposed due to project specific considerations.
