DKM International

Supporting an export-oriented company launch operations.

DKM International produces biodegradable paper cups. The company is based in the industrial zone of Sidi Salah in Sfax and exports exclusively to a German distribution company.   

The company officially started production in July 2022 and has four main product lines. DKM International plans to introduce new sizes of paper cups to meet increasing market demand from European clients. 

To secure orders with prospective clients and meet its contractual obligations with its current German client, DKM International must first implement ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 for quality and food safety management and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) label.  

Tunisia JOBS will help the company implement the necessary certifications and the FSC label. 

Thanks to this support, DKM International expects to increase export sales and create 35 new jobs by May 2023.
