Readiness Management

Try-it-Live

Readiness Management is a collection of maps and apps that can be used by the states National Guards and other service branches to understand force availability.

Events occur that significantly impact the workforce of many organizations. A state's National Guard may be requested to assist in setting up traffic control points, debris removal, setting up alternate care facilities, food distribution, etc.

Units need to know who can report for duty to understand if they have capacity to respond to a request for assistance. Having guardsman perform a routine check-in or having someone from the armory or unit provide the readiness status of a group of guardsmen gives units clarity into force readiness.

The Readiness Management solution includes a Personnel Readiness Report survey that collects information from personnel including their duty type, location, MOS, and unit information.

Try filling out and submitting the Personnel Readiness Survey to get an idea of how easy it is for an individual unit member to use.

Keep in mind, units deploying Readiness Management can review the preconfigured questions and adjust to their own desired echelon terminology.

Some organizations may find it more efficient to have an individual, such as someone from the Armory, check their unit member in using the Personnel Readiness Batch Report survey.

Try filling out and submitting the Personnel Readiness Batch Report to get an idea of how an NCO can submit readiness information on behalf of an entire Battalion.

Once a survey has been submitted, it will immediately be displayed in a pre-configured ArcGIS Dashboard. The Admin Dashboard, below, is intended to provide a Commander with real time actionable information.

Interact with the Dashboard below and find the entries for your surveys submitted above.
