This project is a key part of Commissioner Garcia’s Revive2Thrive Initiative.

Revive2Thrive aims to revitalize Precinct 2 through robust community planning and engagement – with Precinct 2 residents at the helm.

Revive2Thrive is about making strategic community improvements in infrastructure, community programs, and economic development based on what the community wants and needs.

Improvements to the park are partially funded from a grant through Texas Parks and Wildlife. The Urban Outdoor Grant was achieved by providing education, access to nature, and improving accessibility
