The Hunter has localised the targets and chosen to report against the following primary indicators* to determine our progress:

• 13.1.1 Persons directly affected by natural disasters
  • Requests for assistance calls to NSW State Emergency Service (SES)
  • Number of disasters in Hunter LGAs
  • Number of disasters in Australia and NSW

• 13.2.2 Greenhouse gas emissions per capita by sector
  • Scope 1 emissions by industry source (kilotonnes CO ₂ -e) and kg per person
  • Scope 2 emissions by industry source (kilotonnes CO ₂ -e) and tonnes per person
