Fort Dickerson
This park showcases a piece of our Knox County history. Not only can you explore the remains of the fort, there’s also a quarry and couple of walking trails. In the winter, there’s a great view of downtown Knoxville.

Ijams Nature Center
The Ijams Nature Center has a lot to offer. They have plenty of hiking trails, a quarry for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding, a ropes course, and even some animals. Visit the website to learn more!

Bower Field
This County park boasts several baseball fields, a playground and walking track. If it’s a nice evening, there is sure to be someone playing ball at this park.

Marble Springs
This is the final home of John Sevier, Tennessee’s First Governor. This historic site has several buildings to explore, and tours are given a couple times each day the site is open. Visit the website to learn more!

French Memorial Park
This County park has a playground, library and a walking track. The Howard Pinkston Greenway connects the Library to Bonny Kate Elementary.
