The Global Surveyors’ Day

In 2023, Surveyors in the three Baltic States celebrated The Global Surveyors’ Day, on 21 March, with a photo competition. Every Baltic Surveyor was asked to take some good photos of their work on this exact day, 21 March 2023. Every surveying activity or interesting landscape could be photographed, outside in nature, on a construction site, in the office, etc.

In 2024, CLGE decided to expand this event and to allow participation by all European Surveyors.

Following this tradition, in 2025 the competition will continue in the same format.

Please upload your photo, tag its location on the map, add the name of the site, describe the action you're doing, and include a short comment.

Please upload the photos within a week after The Global Surveyors’ Day, i.e., until 28 March 2025.

An independent Jury will establish a ranking, and CLGE will give symbolic awards for the three best stories. By participating in the contest, the authors of the photos allow CLGE and its Member Associations to publish the submitted photos at no cost. If you mention your name, you agree that it will be shared on the map and in the contest documentation.
