Elisabeth's Grinnell Map Sidecar
My Grinnell classmates, professor, and I traveled to Greece together over spring break and saw the Parthenon and the site of the ancient Olympic Games! The trip was the perfect option for me.

We saw a lot of historical sites related to Ancient Olympia, including the ruins of the Ancient Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, called Archaea Olympia.
The trip was a dream come true and a very educational experience for me. Visiting these sites, some of which can be dark and gruesome, helped us realize that history is very powerful and that you need to learn about it to not repeat it yourself.

And I learned so much from my classmates about the course material and more! Together we appreciated how the world is very big, and no place is the same.
Athens was breathtakingly beautiful! Here's a picture of Athens from our hotel.
