Public Art in Johns Creek

Located in our parks, along trails, and City property, public art includes sculptures, architectural elements, murals, and more!

Public art has been commissioned or provided by the City of Johns Creek, Fulton County, local businesses, individual donors, community organizations such as the  Johns Creek Convention & Visitors Bureau  and  Johns Creek Beautification , and various artists.

Located under Medlock Bridge Road with its eastern entrance near Panera Bread.

'Ferns'

Located along the Creekside Park trail adjacent to the Hyatt Place Hotel.

'Entwined Strength'

The horse sculpture is located in the center of the roundabout at Bell Road and Boles Road.

Artist: Eric Strauss

Artwork: The sculpture is made of 4,000 pounds of hot forged steel rods, which were oiled and left to create its natural rust patina.  Johns Creek Beautification  gifted the sculpture to the city

'The Bridge'

The Bridge sculpture inside Cauley Creek Park.

'The Bridge' is located near the Rogers Bridge pedestrian crossing over the Chattahoochee River inside Cauley Creek Park.

Artist: Ilan Averbuch

Artwork: created “The Bridge” sculpture, which is made of steel from the original, historic Rogers Bridge structure.

Gateway Sculpture #1

The gateway marker is located at the intersection of Kimball Bridge and State Bridge roads in front of the Walgreen's.

Ocee Park Sculptures

Yellow, blue, purple, and green colored sculpture in Ocee Park.

The sculptures are located along the walking trail at Ocee Park, in between the tennis courts and sand volleyball courts.

Newtown Park Tunnel Mural

Tunnel mural of trees in different seasons inside Newtown Park.

The tunnel is located under the Brumbelow Road entrance to Newtown Park and is accessible via the park's walking trail.

Newtown Park Mural

Mural of chairs of different colors and butterfly wings.

The mural is located on the side of the concession stand and restroom building near the turf athletic field inside Newtown Park.

Artist: Kelsey Montague

Artwork: Exterior wall mural of chairs, each with a special meaning for Johns Creek. Mural provides a photo opportunity to pose to appear to be seated on one of the chairs.

Oakleaf Archway

There are three Oak Leaf Archways inside Newtown Park, all along the walking trail near Old Alabama Road, the Community Clubhouse, and Veterans Memorial Walk.
