Corridor Segments

We looked at the entire corridor and segmented it into six segments in terms of the neighborhoods, to re-imagine street environments and propose solutions that can better meet the needs of the community and better align with the City’s aspirations to make the corridor a vibrant destination.

  • Segment 1 (Mission Road) - N. Main Street to N. Soto Street
  • Segment 2 (Huntington Drive) - N. Soto Street to Monterey Road
  • Segment 3 (Huntington Drive) - Monterey Road to Eastern Avenue
  • Segment 4 (Huntington Drive) - Eastern Avenue to Van Horne Avenue
  • Segment 5 (Huntington Drive) - Van Horne Avenue to Maycrest Avenue
  • Segment 6 (Huntington Drive) - Maycrest Avenue to Kendall Avenue

Transit Connections

There are several different types of transit connections within the project area. The City will build upon the existing auto, bus, bicycle and pedestrian networks and will increase the transit connectivity within the project area. Land Use

Valley Blvd/Mission Rd corridor is a vibrant, emerging business district encompassing employment centers, educational facilities, healthcare facilities, parks and recreational centers in the area. Use the buttons below to explore landmarks and the zoning categories within the project area.
