The information presented in this map compliments the OKA field guide designed in collaboration between Conservation Northwest and the Foundation for Youth Resiliency and Engagement (FYRE). The purpose of the guide and map is to help young people explore and navigate to accessible outdoor sites near Omak and Okanogan. Young people and staff from FYRE helped select outdoor sites and shared information about what is most interesting and useful to local young people. Outdoor sites include opportunities to hike, camp, paddle, and enjoy nature.
