Immersive Builders
Learn how to create an immersive builder through this demonstration and resource. Immersive builders provide a variety of interactive ways to tell your story. As you are creating your ArcGIS StoryMap, you can access the builders by clicking on the "+" to add these immersive sections to your story. There are two builders: Sidecar and Map Tour
Sidecar: Docked, Floating, Slideshow
Map Tour: Scratch, Upload, Feature Service
The Map Tour builder allows you to walk your audience through a list of locations one place at a time. It is either media focused or map focused.
Select how you want to create your tour.
- Start from scratch, you select the locations manually.
- Upload a group of photos.
- Use a feature service (data layer).
Action!
Your story map should contain:
- An Immersive Builder (Sidecar or Map Tour)
- Multimedia elements: images, soundtracks, videos...
- Maps: One you created in ArcGIS Online or an Express Map
