East Hampshire Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan
The East Hampshire District Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) sets out the ambition for investment in walking and cycling in the East Hampshire area (including the section South Downs National Park) over the next 10 years. The draft document has been informed by engagement with stakeholders and local organisations based in the East Hampshire area and aims to meet local needs, in addition to supporting leisure cycling.
Hampshire County Council (HCC), East Hampshire District Council (EHDC), and South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) have worked together to develop this LCWIP to deliver improvements to walking and cycling facilities across the East Hampshire area.
This plan has been informed by engagement with community representatives and local organisations.
We now welcome your views on the routes and areas in the draft plan. This will also help prioritise cycling and walking improvements for East Hampshire. Please give your feedback by completing a short survey about cycling and walking, which will take less than 10 minutes to complete, and add your comments to our map.
You can also email your response directly to Hampshire County Council using the email address: engagement.feedback@hants.gov.uk or write to Insight & Engagement Unit, Hampshire County Council, Elizabeth II Court South, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UL
If you require the feedback form in another language or format please phone 0300 555 1388, or email engagement.feedback@hants.gov.uk .
Your feedback will be considered and, where appropriate, the draft LCWIP will be updated to respond to the commentary and views provided as part of this public consultation. The finalised LCWIP document is expected to be ready to submit for approval by Hampshire County Council in 2025.
