Constructed only twelve years after the founding of Western Reserve College

North became a dormitory for all male students and over a century later it hosted girls for the first time (WRA was an all-boys school for a long period of time).

Today
North Hall houses 28 male students ranging from sophomores to seniors. Girls did live in North Hall at one point but were deemed unsuccessful due to the nature of the rooms.
North Hall Room 10
Benjamin Sindell '22 and Arthur Johnson's room in North Hall in 2019. This year particularly saw a low number of residents in North Hall resulting in each room only holding doubles as opposed to the traditional triple dormmates per room. Currently, Adam Sindell '24 Matthew Warburton '24, and Giovanni Brosco '24 reside in North Hall Room 10. Room 10 was once equipped with weather observation equipment. Students who lived in the northwest corner paid less tuition and were granted a stipend for managing the equipment the collection of data.
