Improving Barshaw Park Junction, Paisley: Community Survey

'Renfrewshire Council have been awarded funding from Sustrans Scotland's 'Places for Everyone' programme to look at improvements to the junction outside the main entrance to Barshaw Park, where Glasgow Road meets Arkleston Road and Hawkhead Road

Following analysis of previous comments we have received from the local community, we have produced three initial design options which aim to make walking and cycling safer, easier to undertake and more direct at the junction.

In addition, all options seek to provide environmental improvements and make the area more attractive. Subject to funding availability, it is intended to continue the walking and cycling improvements beyond the junction as part of a subsequent project phase.

To help identify a preferred option at the junction we surveyed the local community on the three initial design options.

We want to work together in partnership with the local community to deliver improvements which best meet your needs. Thank you for taking the time to provide your views.
