In 2012, the City of Broken Arrow offered the Center’s current location on Main Street in the Rose District as a permanent home for a collection assembled by Col. Robert W. Powell. On November 11, 2014, the Center celebrated its first anniversary in its current location. The collection has grown over the years and is open to all who are interested in learning more about our nation's military history.
As a hub of patriotism in Broken Arrow, the Military History Center boasts a collection of military artifacts and stories of patriotism and valor. Each weapon, uniform, or piece of memorabilia holds the story of the person who used it in combat or in service of our nation. Come visit and experience the rich history and honor of our military.
Closed on Sunday, Monday, and the major Federal Holidays. Open on Mondays during the summer months.
