The Rutland Regional Plan is a collaborative guide to shape a healthy, equitable, and resilient region.

The final document will outline strategies for achieving our collective goal as it relates to coordinated and efficient community economic development. At the center of this effort is an analysis of present land uses and identification of areas for proposed growth and conservation.

Each new plan (updated every 8 years) is influenced by many factors that evolve over time, though two of them remain paramount: requirements established by state law, as well as input from people who live and work in the Rutland Region.

Community input is where you come in.

The plan update process needs robust public participation to ensure the plan’s policies and actions equitably reflect the insights of Rutland Region’s residents and the unique needs of its 27 diverse towns.
