Welcome to the Kestrel Insights Interactive Demo! Discover how our technology can elevate your data, into insights. Whether you're managing fleet operations, tracking assets, or improving supply chain visibility, this demo showcases the precision and power of our superior geofences. If you're using circles, or hand drawing polygons, you're not alone – there is a better way.
Historical Issues
The basic, inferior circle.
Circular geofences have been commonplace for far too long. This one-size-fits-all approach leaves you with geofences that are too large or too small. The end results are irrelevant alerts and unreliable data.
Polygons | "The Kestrel Way"
Polygon geofences conform to the exact boundaries of a location, eliminating irrelevant area coverage. This fresh approach eliminates uncertainty.
Circular vs. Polygon
Why shapes matter. Here we see how circles lead to errors. As a truck traveled down the interstate it "entered" and "exited" the geofence WITHOUT visiting the intended location. This incorrectly marked the load as "delivered". The green path shows a truck entering and triggering a true "onsite arrival". Precise boundaries means you can TRUST your data.
Take a look at our Database
How does it work? Submit a location via address or gps point and get a polygon in return from our centralized database (subset example on map).
No Address? No problem.
“Hey, Alexa. draw me polygon geofences for every Maverick fuel station in Salt Lake City." What if geofencing were this easy? There’s good news: It is with Kestrel Insights point-of-interest functionality, just substitute "Alexa" with "Kestrel".
