White Clay Creek
Pennsylvania Park and Preserve
Introduction
The White Clay Creek is preserved within two State Parks, both Pennsylvania and Delaware have established, neighboring park lands. The White Clay Creek State Parks are home to my local favorite trail network. The park is classical, North Eastern North America's deciduous forest with extensive streams and tributaries into the White Clay Creek.
Minguannan Indian Town Commemoration Stone
The White Clay Creek's Eastern Branch converges into the Middle Branch within the park and on the trail. This area is on Sharpless Road, parking lot #2 provides accessibility and has history dating back to William Penn. London Tract Meeting House and Cemetery circa 1729 is located on Sharpless Road and is home to a Native American/William Penn commemoration stone of Minguannan Indian Town. Historical ruins and forges are common throughout the park and is common sight withinin or around the White Clay Creek.
A fun fact, the White Clay Creek State Park and Preserve is Pennsylvania's only "Preserve". Additionally, designated by U.S.A.'s Congress as a Wild & Scenic River.

Crossing White Clay Creek
Whether on a short or long hike, the few White Clay Creek crossings in this large bi-state park are good to take note. The crossings are necessary to navigate trail choices and distance. Plus, the trail bridges are scenic to the park's atmosphere.
The slide's photograph is one of three White Clay Creek Trail Bridge Crossings in the Pennsylvania-Delaware Park and Preserve (taken August 2019). The trail bridge is the most northern crossing and with trail intersections of Charles Bailey, Wendel Cassel, and the Mason Dixon Trails.
The second White Clay Creek Trail Bridge has trestle-style iron in Autumn Foliage. Located south of Hopkins Rd on the Mason Dixon Trail.
The third, most southern on the trail, has a trestle-style and neighbors a smaller bridge crossing. The two trail bridges both cross White Clay Creek and connect to Creek Road, Newark, Delaware, U.S.A.
