Picarro L2130-i Ultra High-Precision Isotopic Water Analyzer
Stable isotopes of water δ 2 H/δ 18 O are environmental tracers that have become increasingly attractive in quantitative hydrology for the determination of flow paths, source areas and as age tracers. In our lab, we analyse δ 2 H/δ 18 O with a Picarro L2130-i Isotope and Gas Concentration Analyzer, which performed excellent in a laboratory test ( WICO 2020 ) by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The first water samples were analysed in our lab in 2019. Since then, we have analysed samples of rainfall, rivers, lakes, springs, groundwater, ocean water, glaciers and caves from different parts of the world. One particular sampling campaign was conducted in 2022 in the South Island of New Zealand ... Contact: Dr. Thomas Wöhling
