Bear Lake Trailhead
The Bear Lake to Emerald Lake Trail is about 3.5 miles round trip with 650 feet of elevation gain and features three alpine lakes along the way, all with stunning views.
Nymph Lake
Nymph Lake is about a half-mile from the Bear Lake trailhead. It features idyllic views and is a perfect spot for a picnic.
Dream Lake
Continuing along the trail for another half-mile, you will encounter Dream Lake. This alpine lake has extremely clear water and you can see trout swimming beneath the surface.
Emerald Lake
At about 2 miles from the trailhead and an elevation of 10, 110 ft, you will reach Emerald Lake. This lake gets it's name from its stunning green hue. This is the final stop along the hike, where you will turn around and proceed back to the trailhead.
