The Town is making progress to address affordable housing concerns with help from local organizations, private sector partners and other government entities. The Town and our community partners are committed to making significant headway in addressing housing options for individuals and families of all income levels to live and work in Archuleta County. Rose Mountain Townhomes
34 rental units available to those earning 60% AMI or below. Operated by Archuleta County Housing Authority. 450 Hot Springs Blvd.

Casa de los Arcos for seniors and handicapped
16 units for elderly and/or handicapped at severely reduced rents. Operated by Archuleta County Housing Authority. 503 S. 8th St.

Archuleta Housing Corporation - Site A
52 rental units over 3 sites in downtown, offering 0-4 BR units for those earning less than 50% AMI operated by Archuleta Housing Corporation. 189 N. 7th St.

Archuleta Housing Corporation - Site B
52 rental units over 3 sites in downtown, offering 0-4 BR units for those earning less than 50% AMI operated by Archuleta Housing Corporation. 302 S. 9th St.

Archuleta Housing Corporation - Site C

Aspen House
Aspen House is raising funds to construct 8 rental units for adults with developmental disabilities. Residents will be eighteen years of age or older, able to perform simple tasks in daily living, and have a diagnosis of developmental delay or cognitive challenge. Bristlecone Lofts
20 rental units with garages; 10 units available to those below 50% AMI, 10 units available to those between 51%-120% AMI operated by Community Resources & Housing Development Corporation. 65 Aspenglow Blvd.

Archuleta Housing for the Elderly
12 rental units for residents over 62 years of age and under 50% AMI operated by Archuleta Housing Corp. 634 S. 8th Street

Habitat for Humanity Archuleta County
Habitat Archuleta is a self-help affordable homeownership program for families earning up to 80% AMI. Habitat Partner families qualify for a low interest mortgage and work alongside volunteers to build there home. As of 2021, HfHAC is completing their 28th home in Archuleta County. In 2022, HfHAC will construct 2 homes for which owners have been selected. To get information on how to apply for a 2023 house or beyond, please visit their website.

Hickory Ridge
40 rental units for households earning up to 60% AMI. Contact 970-264-2050 for more information. 216 N. 8th St.

HomesFund
HomesFund provides homebuyer education which is often key to obtaining discounted mortgage interest rates. They also provide financing for mobile homes which are hard to obtain financing for. They provide Mortgage Assistance funds available to households earning up to 80% AMI that provides critical down payment relief for new homebuyers.

Socorro
19 rental units available to Seniors earning under 30% AMI operated by Housing Solutions for the Southwest. 559 S. 8th St.

Lakeview Estates
Rental units for households with rents based on income. For more information, call 970-731-5666. 857 North Pagosa Blvd.

Rock Ridge Mobile Home Park
Rock Ridge offers rental and purchase of manufactured homes on rented spaces. Financing may be available for purchasing home through HomesFund. No income maximums. 72 Great West Ave.

Lewis Street Apartments
Operated by and for the Springs Resort, these 8 rental units are affordable and walkable for local workforce. While priority is given to Springs Resort employees, units may be rented to anyone who is a member of the local workforce. 180 Lewis St.

Uptown Micro Apartments - Coming Soon!
Former hotel under renovation to create 98 rental units, 25 of which are rent restricted (CHFA rent amounts) to be available to Qualified Residents who work a minimum of 32 hours per week at a local business, and with household income up to 120% AMI. Balance of units are available to anyone at market rents. 519 Village Dr.

Pagosa Springs Community Housing Coalition

Town - Workforce Housing Site A - Completion Expected 2023
One of three sites to be developed through a partnership with the Town of Pagosa Springs and Servitas to construct and operate 12 - 2 BR townhomes targeted to local workforce earning between 80-140% AMI. 574 S. 6th St.

Town - Workforce Housing Site B - Completion Expected 2023
One of three sties to be developed through a public-private partnership between the Town of Pagosa Springs and Servitas to construct and operate 30 - 1 BR units. The units will be targeted to local workforce who make between 80-140% AMI. 550 S. 8th Street, pending a zoning change.
