Title page: Chimneys: an Architectural Form by John P. White and David Clement

Chimneys of Lubbock is a digital exhibition building upon the 1990 exhibition Chimneys: An Architectural Form, originally displayed in the College of Architecture Building at Texas Tech University.

The original photographs were taken by Professor and Historic Preservation Program Director John P. White (now Emeritus) and student David Clement and mounted on foamboard.

These images highlight buildings that showcase the different styles and aesthetic approaches within Lubbock's neighborhoods from the late 1920s to the early 1950s.

See TTU Arch Design Images for more information on these images:  https://exhibits.lib.ttu.edu/s/openarch/item-set/13077

Denny Mingus has re-photographed the sites to allow viewers to visit the current chimneys.
