sntsk‘il’ntən - Black Mountain Regional Park is 640 ha on the eastern slopes of Kelowna. An audio clip of the nsyilxcən word sntsk‘il’ntən is available to help with pronunciation. The park was created through collective efforts of the Regional District of Central Okanagan, Westbank First Nation, and the Province of British Columbia. There are stunning views, extensive hiking trails, and conservation for endangered grassland ecosystems.

Hours
Regional Parks are open dawn to dusk. Park hours shift seasonally.
Jan 1 to Feb 28 - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mar 1 to May 31 - 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Jun 1 to Aug 31 - 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sept 1 to Oct 14 - 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Oct 15 to Dec 31 - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Winter: Reduced maintenance of parking areas and facilities from approximately November to March.
Directions
There is a parking area for sntsk'il'ntən - Black Mountain Regional Park off Swainson Road in Kelowna.
There is another parking area off Joe Rich Road.
The park can also be accessed through Tower Ranch Hillside Park and there is street parking is available on Tower Ranch Drive.
