Notes from the 'Cartographer:'

As always with the map, I've chosen not to show any borders as this map is only supposed to represent the confirmed geography of the crusades; and as the borders haven't been confirmed, I can't depict them. The exception here is the Sultanate of Rum, which I've shown outlined because of its importance in determining the geography of the Iron Wall. I eventually have a plan to update this page with a secondary map showing the real life historic borders of each nation mentioned in Trench Crusade, as a sort of "here's what they might look like" -type thing.

I also have plans to make a map speculating the shape of the Iron wall and the extent of the Heretic's territory.

There is to my knowledge one nation that exists in canon that isn't depicted on the map, that being the Varagian guard nation mentioned in the Byzantine lore. As this country has no historical equivalent it cannot be represented with my making some assumptions. And I don't deal with assumption, I deal with fact.

That being said, Damascus being located where Damascus is, The Sultanate of Rum having the same borders in 1099 that it did in real life, and the geography of Earth being the same are all assumptions and should be taken with a grain of salt. Please and thank you.

Trench crusade is the creation and property of Mike Franchina and Tuomas Pirinen
