Greater Seattle Landscape: The Animals & The People

Moving Forward With Data

Last updated: June, 2022

The goal of this initiative is to combine detailed data from a number of different sources in order to gain insight into the 'what and where' question of what the community needs in terms of support for humans and their animal companions.

This analysis draws on broad data from a number of authoratative sources including the US Census, ACS and ESRI. Data specific to Seattle Humane and their operations was drawn from their internal records.

The project is sponsored by Seattle Humane.
