What is RainWise trying to solve?

RainWise is a rebate program, offered by Seattle Public Utilities and King County Wastewater Treatment Division, that helps property owners manage stormwater on their own property by installing cisterns and/or rain gardens. This can prevent polluted runoff and flooding, protect the sewer system infrastructure, add attractive landscaping, and can provide water for summer irrigation.

If a lot of us manage the rain that falls on our property, collectively we can make a big difference.
