My life!

My name is Paula Szczepara! I am a freshmen and my intended major is environmental studies. I thoroughly enjoy learning about the natural world and I hope to work in a field which will allow me to positively impact the world, especially considering our current climate issues and many more.

I am from Rockland county, which is an hour downstate. Specifically, from a small town called Nyack. My family is originally from Poland, and I am first gen in the U.S.! I visit my family in Poland most summers, and I absolutely love traveling!

Lastly, I am very excited for this course as I have always took an interest in peoples originalities and migration patterns. I would love to learn more about the reasons why people migrate, their obstacles, etc.
