Blacktail Dam


The park at Blacktail Dam is located about 25 miles north of Williston and offers camping, picnic areas, boating, and several playgrounds. There is also a 9 hole golf course located on the north side of the park.

Epping/ Springbrook Dam


The park at Epping/Springbrook Dam is located about 15 miles east of Williston and offers camping, a fishing pier, a playground, and more.

Kota Ray Dam


The park at Kota Ray Dam is located about 10 miles south of Ray and offers fishing, camping, boating and more.

Little Egypt


Little Egypt is a waterfront park located on Lake Sakakawea about 30 miles south of Ray. The park offers picnic areas, camping, and direct access to Lake Sakakawea for swimming and non-motorized watercraft.

Lookout Park


Lookout Park was established in 2020 when the Williams County Park Board purchased and installed a playground on a piece of land they owned.

Please note that there are no public restrooms at Lookout Park or nearby, but there is a picnic table and a trash receptacle. Future plans include a half basketball court and additional picnic tables.

McGregor Dam


The park at McGregor Dam is located about 15 miles north of Tioga and offers camping, fishing, a playground and more.

Park Rules


Please remember to be courteous to others and clean up after yourself! Anyone violating these rules set forth by the Williams County Park Board may be banned from use of the Williams County Parks and appropriate law enforcement action will be taken.

  1. Parks are closed, except to registered guests, at sunset each day.
  2. Quiet hours are from sunset to sunrise each day.
  3. No person may destroy, deface or remove in any manner any property belonging to this park to include trees, plants, or cultural resources.
  4. Owners must clean up after their pets. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
  5. Campfires may only be built in the provided fire rings, which may not be moved from their current location. All fires must be supervised by a person of at least 18 years of age and must be maintained in a safe manner in accordance of the ND Rangeland Fire Danger Index.
  6. Waste may only be disposed of in the proper receptacles. Garbage receptacles are intended for campers and day use patrons only.
  7. Vehicles may only travel on maintained roads and trails and are to be operated in full accordance with the law and follow posted speed limits.
  8. Hunting or shooting of any kind is not permitted within park boundaries.
  9. Septic tanks are for RV disposal only. Use is free with paid camping or for a fee for non-campers.
  10. No person shall camp for more than 14 days without permission of the Williams County Park Board (with the exception of  McGregor Dam Campsite , which is closed to camping on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
