Past Planning Efforts for Conneaut Valley Boroughs

A review of past plans in Springboro, Conneautville, and Linesville boroughs.

Introduction

This story map explores how projects and recommendations proposed in past local and regional planning efforts may influence the communities participating in the Conneaut Valley Boroughs Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan. Our aim is to educate citizens before they work to develop recommendations and strategies for their communities both individually as well as collaboratively by providing context on past plans. Additionally, this story map aims to carry forward institutional knowledge on past ideas that, though never implemented, may still hold value. For each existing or past plan covered, we provide an overview of its purpose along with an interactive map that allows you to review details of the proposals formed during that effort. We cover local plans containing proposals that may have direct implications for a single community as well as regional and county-level plans with a broader influence across the whole Conneaut Valley.

Please note, this story map resource only contains detailed information on past project proposals and recommendations that can be represented visually on a map. For a full report on our review of existing plans with implications for Conneaut Valley boroughs, please check out the  Existing Plans Review Appendix .
