Combining historical maps, geospatial mapping and cultural narrative through a mapping process, the Waipapa ki Arapuni Cultural Landscape and extent has been defined and framed to support the collective value and relationship as a whole. Framed on the edges of the Waikato River, and its rising escarpment edges, the area holds a culturally rich and diverse landscape within a relatively small and concentrated area (approx 12km's).
