Libertyville Parks, Bike Routes, Paths, and Trails

The Village of Libertyville is home to 19 parks including over 500 acres of land and 11,000 public trees.

The Village is proud to host over 500 acres of active and passive recreation areas for its residents to enjoy. The Parks Maintenance division is responsible for the care and improvement of this land and strives to provide a beautiful and immersive space for residents to indulge in nature and the outdoors. The Village has worked in earnest to provide a wide variety of activities in these spaces that appear to all ages, abilities, and interests. Village park amenities include playgrounds, swimming pools, walking and biking trails, fishing areas, athletic fields, wildlife viewing areas, disc golf equipment, basketball courts, and pickleball courts.
