It may be surprisingly, but there are a lot of abandoned lands in Russia. People could plant forest there to increase the economy of the areas, to input to reduce climate change and the rate of Intact Forest Landscapes degradation... Could be - if it is not forbidden by federal law. Greenpeace Russia applies to government to change the law - and GIS team has supported this campaign with detailed analysis. The resulting map service and methodology are ready to be explored below.
